About the Guidebook
Who would have thought this remote little landlocked Himalayan kingdom could offer some seriously quirky and novel experiences which not only surprise you, but make you simply fall in love with the country. This guide is going to help you find some very interesting things to do in Bhutan- most of which your travel agent will not tell you about, while moving beyond touristy trails of dzongs & monastries. The country has much much more to offer.
Local Knowledge & Cool Perks
As an Indian, I could travel independently (without tour guide) in Bhutan and therefore had an opportunity to interect a lot with locals and experience a local life. This guidebook is based on those first hand experiences on offbeat trails. As a foreigner (other than Indian), you could request your travel agent to include any/all of the listings from my guide to be included in your trip.
I can also help you secure a booking at the listed homestay for no extra charge. The host family is now a friend and know me well.
