About the Guidebook
I cannot tell you how many times I see tourists eating at Union Oyster House, Legal Seafoods, or several other places within Boston that are absolute no no's for anyone who is a local here. Boston has some amazing seafood in the unlikeliest of places, but it takes some research to find them.
This travel guide is going to show you a few of my favorite places within Boston to taste fresh fish, shellfish and all that related to seafood. Some of these places are dabbling on the cutting edge of seafood dishes, while others serve the classics. In my 33 years of being alive and living mostly around Boston - I have to put these up there as my top picks...
Local Knowledge & Cool Perks
I've grown up all my life on the ocean. I've owned lobster pots, fished on the north and south shores as well as within Boston. I've also tasted most of what the city has to offer when it comes to seafood. I'll share with you all of my local haunts and favorite spots. These will range from dive bars to upscale establishments. It's up to you to make the decision on where to go, but at least here you'll have a clear understanding of the ones you need to select from.
If you stop by any of these on your trip here, please message me and I'll try to come by or call the owners to get you a good spot at the bar or restaurant. If you want to meet up and see more of the town, message me. I don't mind buying you a beer, as long as you buy me an oyster or two!
