Sonja Brisbarne , Lifelong learning student
I am a lecturer, researcher, a language and a literature lover. My passion for Linguistics has allowed me the opportunity to visit a great variety of places all around the world, being given the chance to present my research on the historical development of a grammatical structure of the English language. While visiting those places, I was priviledge enough to meet a great array of linguists who share similar interests to mine. These years of travelling certainly opened my mind.
I have visited many countries around Europe (the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy among many others). My profile picture was taken at a conference in Leiden. This guide is part of a larger project whereby 1st Baccalaureate students are challenged to write their own digital travel guide to visit a European Heritage Site among the 38 that have been awarded the European Heritage Label. The ultimate goal of the guide is that students learn how to apply for a EU Free Interrail Pass.
