About the Guidebook
Trnava is the first royal town of Slovakia. With its rich history ranging from the Black Plague to the Turkish raids, every history lover will find his share.
There is an immense amount of amazing gothic buildings, temples and synagogue. That is the reason of Trnava's common nickname, "Little Rome".
The name "Trnava" can be roughly translated as thorn bush, what symbolizes difficulties at the start of colonisation.
So, do you like history? Do you want to visit a country with completely different culture, different food, but same people? Then you will love Trnava.
Local Knowledge & Cool Perks
I can proudly say that I was born in Trnava. In my eyes, it is the most beautiful city in the world. People here are very friendly and enjoy what life has to offer. It is not the biggest city in the world, not by size. But it is the biggest city for me.
I will show you my knowledge of this place best as I can. I hope you will enjoy it.
